Lazio lost on their debut in the Europa League, Galatasaray won 1-0 but what Strakosha did was something incredible. A seemingly harmless ball in the 22nd st, the goalkeeper would have liked to send it to the corner, but instead managed the titanic feat of sending it to his goal for an own goal with very few precedents.

Lazio are very far from Sarri's standard, especially in the first half they struggled a lot, appearing static and inconclusive. Galatasaray hit a crossbar with Morutan and created more than a few problems for the Biancocelesti. In the second half Luis Alberto close to scoring, then two chances for the Turks before Strakosha's omelette.

Sarri made four changes, first Milenkovic-Savic and Muriqi for Akpa-Akpro and Immobile, then Basic and Pedro in place of Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson, just one minute from the Biancoceleste goalkeeper's own goal. On the 26th minute, a sensational mistake by Milenkovic-Savic just a few steps from the goal with a too banal lob. The final forcing is useless: Lazio not up to par, condemned by an absurd mistake by Strakosha.
