Coming from a couple top-performing seasons at Hellas Verona, 30-year old Italian goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, previously inquired about by Lazio, AS Roma, and Napoli, is being sought after by an increasing number of Serie A clubs.

Playing for Scaligeri since 2017/18, former Leeds United stopper is now tracked by a further quartet: Inter Milan (looking for a new backup to Samir Handanovic, as well as a possible future heir for the Slovenian goalie), Cagliari, Genoa, and Torino.

Silvestri had his ongoing deal with Romeo & Juliet side extended, on a June 2022 deadline, just last August. The forementioned ones Cagliari (which he used to play for in 2013/14 second half-season) and Torino are having a move at him if letting out Alessio Cragno, the former, and Salvatore Sirigu, the latter.
