Reuniting with Luciano Spalletti, who trained him back in 2018/19, when they were both fending for Inter Milan, Italian international winger Matteo Politano, coming from Euro 2020 big disappointment, with Roberto Mancini ruling him out from Italy pre-list, is so far meant to stay put. Despite not having provided him that much game time back in the day, Partenopei new boss seems to have recognized AS Roma alumni's pivotal role in the team, and is not willing to let him out.

Purchased on an overall 21.5 million euros transfer fee, former Sassuolo player, who has so far spent a year and a half as a Napoli man, is tracked hard by both Fiorentina and Lazio. Tables can be turned, however, only on a 30 or more million euros bid.
