Every year FIFA selects its best player, coach and goalkeeper. The contenders for The Best Award this year are the two Bundesliga top strikers Erling Haaland (21) from Borussia Dortmund and Robert Lewandowski (33) from FC Bayern.

The latter is the big favorite for the coveted individual trophy after his Bundesliga record with 41 goals in the 2020/21 season. But Lewandowski not only faces Haaland's competition, but also has to outdo world-class people like Kylian Mbappé (22), Cristiano Ronaldo (36) and Lionel Messi (34).

This year, the coaches are two Germans: national coach Hansi Flick and Thomas Tuchel from Champions League winner Chelsea FC. For the goalkeepers, on the other hand, DFB captain Manuel Neuer (35) is once again in the final draw and has a good chance of winning the trophy.
