Providing Paris Saint-Germain a much less brilliant seasonal performance than his debut one, 28-year old Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, might be put up for sale, while PSG have just extended, on the other hand, their ongoing deal with Neymar. By signing away former Inter Milan captain, on an about 35 million euros fee, French giants might manage to partially finance another new and improved contract, namely Kylian Mbappé's one.

Previously pursued by such clubs as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, Maurito's best chance for a change, right now, is heading back into Serie A realms. To this end, three Italian high-rank clubs are currently after him, notably Juventus, AS Roma - both tracking him in the past already, - and, as a new entry, former city rivals of his AC Milan.

Currently on a deal with PSG until June 2024, Icardi, purchased on an overall 50 million euros transfer fee, is at the time earning a 5.75 million euros annual salary. While Bianconeri might make room for him by returning Alvaro Morata to Atletico Madrid, and Rossoneri are in search for someone to take over once Zlatan Ibrahimovic quits anyways, Giallorossi are deeming him fit for an Edin Dzeko replacement position.
