TRANSFERS - FCA: Reuter about failed commitments

Stefan Reuter drew a positive transfer conclusion for FC Augsburg, even if not all of the planned commitments could ultimately be implemented. When asked by the 'Augsburger Allgemeine' about the summer goals Kevin Vogt (29) from TSG Hoffenheim and Ritsu Doan (23) from PSV Eindhoven, the managing director of FCA explains:

“We deal with a lot of players. But it doesn't always work. We also need a certain financial hygiene in the cabin. This is the only way to create a sense of community. "

But even without these transfers, Reuter sees “more quality in the squad than in previous years” at the FCA. That is also due to the fact that apart from Marco Richter (23, at Hertha BSC) they have not lost a regular player. “We didn't want to give up any quality during the transfer period. If an offer had come that would have promised a lot of money, you have to make sure that you create a win-win situation. But there was no such offer, ”explains the 54-year-old.
