ITALY/ LAZIO, Valencia maxi-offer for De Vrij rejected

26.12.2015 11.00 by Claudio Colla  read 1370

Still long-term injured and set to hit the pitch back not before next May, Dutch international centre-back Stefan De Vrij (23) has just been the object of a maxi-offer coming from Valencia, amounting to 36 million euros. Lazio owner, Claudio Lotito, rejected it, without any second thought, since being willing to rely on him all the way to the quite distant future. Currently on a deal with Italian club until June 2018, former Feyenoord player is still an item of interest for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United as well.
