Asked by Sky Sports News about Kepa Arrizabalaga refusing to be substituted (by Willy Caballero), when called to the bench by Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, during League Cup final game's last minutes, Blues veteran David Luiz stated: "I told Kepa we just have to respect the boss' decisions. Though I don't know whether Sarri wanted to have him quit the game because he was in pain, or just due to football-based reasons. Kepa was telling us he was fine, anyway, and during the game you don't have much time to explain things thoroughly". Both Blues manager and goalie have however played down the incident.
