Asked by Marca about rumours linking him to both Barcelona FC and Real Madrid, Benfica rising star winger Joao Felix (19) stated: "I'd rather join Liga than Premier League, actually. Anyway, so far I really haven't had the time to think about my future. Things are just developing by their natural course, and news are happening when we less expect them to. Barça and Real are two clubs I've been fond of since I was a kid. However, right now I'm happy where I am, playing for Benfica. Agents and chairmans are the ones dealing with transfer market and contracts. I just focus on playing football, and that's it". The 1999-born is also tracked by Bayern Munich, Juventus, and PSG.
