Addressed by Radio Kiss Kiss about rumours having Napoli close to sign Uruguayan international deep-lying midfielder and Real Madrid backup player Federico Valverde (21), his middleman for Italy, Edgardo La Salvia, stated: "Someone from Napoli talked to my associate Gerardo Lavalja indeed. So far, we know the club are interested in Federico, and nothing more. The player is right now focused on Real, and want the club to rely on him more. On the other hand, we are aware Napoli would be a destination he likes, a good place to play football. Federico, however, is a professional, and is not getting distracted by transfer market issues".
