As reported by De Telegraaf, Ajax and Cameroonian NT 23-year old star goalkeeper André Onana, addressed with rumours having him leave soon, stated: "There recently was interest on me from some big clubs, that could have offered me much more money than Ajax. But Ajax has done a lot for me, and I feel home here. This extension means I will stay at least one more season. Overmars brought me to the meeting, and asked me, 'André, please stay.' Sometimes it's important to listen to the people who have helped you in the past, like Overmars or Edwin van der Sar".
