While the team are getting closer and closer to relegation, Empoli chairman, Fabrizio Corsi, commented upon rumours on Italian right-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo (25) and Algerian international midfielder Ismael Bennacer (21, in the pic on the left): "Napoli owner De Laurentiis never asked me about Di Lorenzo. Of course he can't stay with us anymore, his performances are on an already international level-size. Napoli, however, have already got proficient players covering his position. No talks on Bennacer either, so far. He's a young player, on his journey to develop his game on full scale". Bennacer, coming from a thorough seasonal performance, might even be bought back by Arsenal, whose academy homegroomed him from 2015 to 2017.
