Coming from an underwhelming fourth Juventus campaign of his, former Croatian international striker Mario Mandzukic (turning 33 next Tuesday, May 21), according to latest Italian rumours, wants to stay put, despite the club having announced Massimiliano Allegri won't be first-team boss next season. Turned winger by Allegri himself, former Wolfsburg, Atletico and Bayern hitman, still on a deal with Bianconeri until June 2021, might accept a backup role in the team, though Gonzalo Higuain's return would depict an either-or scenario. So far, Mandzukic has only been approached through bids coming from Chinese Super League, a scene he's so far seemingly not interested in.
