While both Borja Valero and Joao Mario, in Inter Milan midfield department, are on their way out, 27-year old Uruguayan international Matias Vecino is pending approval, through more appraisals and evaluation from the club's new management. While Neroazzurri boss Antonio Conte, before starting summer training camp, gave his overall ok to Vecino staying put, a 25 million euros (or more) bid might turn the tables. All intertwined with the chance the player claims a regular position, while Conte might see him more as a backup, or he ends up not being fit to the new lineup, tactics-wise. Former Fiorentina player, currently on a deal with Milan side until June 2022, was linked to a bunch of clubs being interested in him, last summer, including Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Tottenham.
