Real Madrid rounded off the Audi Cup by beating Fenerbahçe in the third place playoff, as Benzema netted three goals. The forward stated: “It is important to have won. Pre-season is there to help us get ready and pick up the pace. We are working hard and we will get there, bit-by-bit. We always want to win games, but it is difficult. Today we won, but need to keep working hard before the first game in LaLiga. I feel good, but I need more minutes to get to a good level, we are getting closer in every friendly and every training session”.
