Arsenal announced having signed U18 squad and English U17 international striker Sam Greenwood. Here's the official note:

"The 17-year-old forward scored 10 goals and also assisted five in our under-18s title-winning 2018/19 season. Sam is already off the mark this term, having scored in our recent 5-1 win over Aston Villa.

Sam has also proven himself to be a prolific striker for England at under-17 level, scoring 12 goals in 14 appearances.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Sam on his new contract and we look forward to his continued development.

The new contract is subject to the completion of regulatory processes".
