AC MILAN - French tycoon ARNAULT plans to acquire the club

Acquired by Elliott Management Corp. investment firm just in July 2018, AC Milan, as a club, might pass under new hands any time soon. According to Il Messaggero, French 70-year old tycoon Bernard Arnault (in the pic), head of multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH, and, according to Bloomberg and Forbes, second richest man in the world to date (even ahead of Bill Gates, and only behind Amazon owner Jeff Bezos). Arnault is reportedly offering a billion euros in order to purchase Italian club, a much higher bid than the 700 million euros reportedly turned down at the start of July, coming from a Qatari fund.
