Tasting his personal revenge against Liverpool, after last CL final match lost, when he was playing for Tottenham, Napoli striker Fernando Llorente stated: "Managing to score against the European champions is already a big emotion in itself, but I must say I didn't imagine the thrill would be as extraordinary as it was at this stadium. The fans' roar was incredible, and I'm so pleased that I was able to give them a happy moment. It was a lively and hard-fought game. This win is worth more than three points, because it gives us a big boost for the future.

The coach told me to try to pin their defence back when I came on, and I managed to do just that. I'm a very happy member of this squad, and always hope to be able to contribute positively to the team. We have a very competitive squad here".
