Commenting upon the underwhelming home 1-1 against Slavia Prague, Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku stated: “The first half was really hard for us: Slavia played with a great amount of physicality. We tried to score in the final 20 minutes, but didn’t perform well, first and foremost because we didn’t win. Further work needs to be done this week.

My back ache? I could feel it somewhat this morning, but I’ll train with the group on Wednesday. We need to work daily to reach the targets that have been set. We also need to go down a path in keeping with such an ambitious club. Everyone who play agaisnt Inter needs to think that they’re in for a difficult game, we’ll be prepared for this. We want to be a tough opponent for anyone”.
