Scorer of last night equalizing goal against Slavia Prague, 22-year old midfielder Nicolò Barella, purchased by Inter Milan last summer, from Cagliari, commented: “They planned the game thoroughly, but we could have done better. We didn’t always manage to do what the coach asked of us. Now more battles await us, and we need to do the best we can.

I’m ok, and eager to do my best. The group has given me a great welcome ,and it’s normal to have a settling-in period when you switch teams. Despite this draw, we are Inter, and we’ll go toe-to-toe with everyone. We’ll do all that we can to qualify for round-of-16”.
