Talking to Everton TV, Toffees and English NT centre-back Michael Keane (26) stated: “You get goosebumps every time you walk out at Goodison. When you hear those sirens go. It gives you a lift, it really does. You can hear how loud the fans are, when you're in the tunnel. Then come out and think, ‘Wow’.

It gives you an extra boost of energy. I think it makes you focus a bit more as well. Then you have to try to block out the noise, once the game starts, and focus properly. But the fans can play a huge part for us. They have shown that in the past five or six months. Our home outcome has been brilliant, and they have been right behind us. We did well, of course, but they have definitely helped us out”.
