Commenting upon the 3-2 goal, scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, through which Arsenal defeated Aston Villa, Gunners goalkeeper Bernd Leno stated: "I had the perfect view. I could see the shot from behind. It was a knuckle-ball, I think, and it's very difficult for the goalkeeper, because he didn’t see the ball. It was a fantastic goal. Auba? He’s unbelievable. And his goal was unbelievable too. I think he's very important for us, because he scores almost every week, and gets important goals for us too.
I think the win showed a lot of our quality of ours, mind-wise. In the dressing room, we spoke during half-time pause, and we told each other we had nothing to lose. We were already one-nil, one player off, but we were able to fight, and the team showed a great response. We had so many good chances to score, eventually, and the win was well-deserved".
