Scorer of one of the goals Napoli defeated RB Salzburg by, Azzurri forward and captain Lorenzo Insigne, looking back to his recent disagreements with first-team boss Carlo Ancelotti, stated:

I wasn't upset with starting from the bench, because I knew I could help the team anyway. I hugged Ancelotti when I scored, because I rate him very highly. He showed faith me in me, and told me I was going to score.

I accept his decisions. He's a great coach. There may have been a few misunderstandings, but it's all cleared up now. You need everyone in the squad to win games. Now we must keep this spirit on. This victory pushes us up through the group. Hopefully we'll be able to secure qualification soon
