BORUSSIA DORTMUND boss Favre: "Signing MANDZUKIC? Some years ago it would have been a no-brainer"

27.11.2019 11.15 by Claudio Colla  read 455

Asked by German media about the chance for Borussia Dortmund to bring former Croatian international striker Mario Mandzukic (33) back to Bundesliga, BVB boss Lucien Favre stated: "Three or four years ago, that would have a been a no-brainer. He is a very good player. Now he is 33 years old, and we must consider which sums are in the game today". Still an outcast at Juventus, Bianconeri semi-veteran seems no longer a main target for Manchester United, while Qatari sides Al-Rayyan and Al-Gharafa are ready to strike back and try again to sign him.
