RIVER PLATE, Martinez Quarta's agent: "Landing to Europe in January? It can happen"

Standing out as a River Plate core-player, 23-year old centre-back Lucas Martinez Quarta, who debuted for Argentina full-side national team last early September, has recently been screened by a bunch of European clubs, including Benfica, Celta Vigo, Inter Milan. To this end, his agent, Gonzalo Goni, addressed with transfer rumours by Infobae, stated: "Whatever it is, we'll try to put the sports logic ahead of the financial one. I'm not taking Lucas anywhere, just ut of making a buck. River need to sell, and Lucas has got European citizenship. That means joining Europe in January can happen".
