According to Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur are willing to listen to offers of less than £40m for Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, 27.
Eriksen is out of contract at the end of the season and he has repeatedly refused to extend his deal, despite an offer worth more than £200,000 a week, which would make him one of the club’s highest earners.

Eriksen has indicated to the coach Mourinho that he still wants a new challenge, preferably in La Liga or Serie A.
Levy was prepared to sell Eriksen to Tuesday’s opponents Manchester United in August for £80million and he would be willing to consider offers of less than £40m in January.
