Asked about his Manchester City future, Josep Guardiola stated: "Mikel Arteta could definitely replace him, once I'm gone. He's up to task, it's just up to him. I won't threaten him with a gun, that's not my kind of behaviour with either my staff members or my players. We're human beings, everyone of us dreaming and wishing for stuff. I hope he's staying put all season long, and the longest time he can afterwards".
