Asked by German media about Moroccan international right-back Achraf Hakimi (21), recently setting a new Bundesliga speed rate record, Borussia Dortmund director of football, Michael Zorc, stated: "We voiced more than once our will to keep him into the team, beyond current loan deal terms. So far, however, no final decision has been made. Neither towards Achraf staying put, nor towards a departure of his". Equipped with a dual Spanish citizenship, Hakimi is on a parent-club deal with Real Madrid and until June 2021, and it's safe to say Merengues, due to the 1998-born's top-notch performances, are at least pondering over bringing him back into their masterplan.
