According to Italian local source Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Espanyol management are planning a move on Spanish winger and Napoli veteran José Maria Callejon. Turning 33 on February 11, Azzurri powerhouse was possibly meant to leave right before last night home game against Juventus, with Matteo Politano ready to join in from Inter Milan. His thorough performance in the team victory over Bianconeri, including the assist he served to Insigne, might now get him to stay put. Callejon, who used to play for Pericos from 2008/09 to 2010/11, is deadlined to turn free agent after current season's over, unless extension talks kick back in.
