Talking ahead of upcoming city derby against AC Milan, Italian international midfielder and Inter Milan powerhouse Stefano Sensi, recently back to the pitch after having recovered from a long-term injury, told Sky Sport Italia: “I’m feeling good, and I’m working to reach optimum condition. Obviously, being on the sidelines and not being able to help the team has been difficult. Now, I’m fully focused, as I look to get back to lending a hand to my teammates.
This team’s aim is to remain at the top. We work really hard in order not to make mistakes, and do our best every Sunday. Mister Conte is fired up all the time, regardless of the opponent we’re about to face. We’re chill, and he always provides us with the right motivation and tells us what we need to do. However, city derby will be city derby. The league table and tactics don’t matter, you first win it with your heart. We’ll put everything into it.
Eriksen’s arrival has brought quality and experience to the team. He’s been playing at really high levels for years, and is settling in. He’ll help us make a leap forward".
