Addressed by De Telegraaf with Barcelona FC move-in rumours, Serbian international winger/forward and Ajax captain Dusan Tadic (31) stated: "Actually, I wasn't that surprised. I believe in myself and in what I do, and my last seasonal performance was excellent, really. But, as I said hundreds of times, Ajax is my home club, and I have no reason to leave. I've got everything I need here, and my ongoing deal with Ajax is deadlined to June 2026. Ziyech joining Chelsea? I can say, by personal experience, that Premier League is a very difficult championship. However, I think Hakim will be a great fit for Blues, since they're a very frontline-based team. I hope we can say goodbye after having won three titles together".
