Interviewed by ESPN, and asked about his tie to the late basketball star Kobe Bryant, Manchester United and French NT star midfielder Paul Pogba stated: "When I heard the news, it was a shock for me. As it was for everyone worldwide, I'm sure, not only sportspersons. He is a legend, hands down. His words, his suggestions, his hard work, his eagerness to be the best around and win, all of those inspired me. Kobe's death reminded to all of us we could be dead anytime, either as a widely known star or as a mall worker. In a way, it helped us reminding everyone to enjoy life".
