Despite recent rumours linking Ralf Rangnick to a basically sure agreement with AC Milan, ahead of next summer, Rossoneri CEO Ivan Gazidis, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is tempted to keep Italian 54-year old Stefano Pioli in for the job, mostly out of Rangnick's cash demands, both on his fee and the funds earmarked for the transfer market, being too much for the club. Former Inter Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina boss, currently on a deal with AC Milan until June 2021, is at the time earning a 1.5 million euros per-season wage, a sum consistent with the club business plan.
