Commenting upon UEFA having decided to postpone European Football Championship to 2021, 43-year old Andriy Shevchenko, Ukraine boss since 2016, meant to take part into the competition, told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I think they picked the right way to go. Football must be a party, a holiday, a celebration, something to cheer to. If you can't bring people there, or if it becomes something scary, what's the point of playing it? UEFA chose the best way to keep both footballers and fans safe, and to preserve the showmanship part of this sport. Attracting people to the arenas is the main reason football exists, it struggles behind closed doors".
Previously training Independiente and Estudiantes, Argentinian 40-year old trainer Gabi Milito has been named Argentinos Juniors new first-team manager. Former Barcelona FC backliner agreed on a 2-year deal.
