As a family man decision, and also as a valuable and noteworthy symbolic gesture, former Nigerian international defensive midfielder John Obi Mikel (32) decided to stop playing Turkish Süper Lig, out of safety, due to the pandemic health emergency going on. Former Chelsea player and Trabzonspor had their deal therefore terminated, on mutual consent.
