Through an Instagram post, almost 37-year old PSG and Brazilian NT right-back/winger Dani Alves commented upon Brazilian prime minister Jair Bolsonaro downplaying the COVID-19 flu pandemy going on:

"Mister President, even if I feel nothing but respect for you, there are a lot of people and families facing what's going on right now, thoroughly working to solve the problems this situation is causing, and, as Brazil's most important individual, you should care about our country, and our folks. The whole world is going through some very hard times, and we shouldn't ignore that, at all. As a common citizen, I want to speak out what I think, because I don't want to keep on living without sharing moments with people around, let alone being scared of them. God bless Brazil an the world!".
