ARSENAL wonderkid MARTINELLI: "I want to be a Gunners icon"

Interviewed by FourFourTwo, 2001-born Brazilian U23 international striker Gabriel Martinelli, purchased by Arsenal last summer, and capable of growing into a Gunners powerhouse in slightly more than half a season, stated: "I want to win Champions League, as well as many other trophies and honours, as an Arsenal player. I want to make our fans happy. They deserve the best, as the club do, and I want to give back some of the wonderful feel I got to shower with when I first came here, to pay everyone's effort back. I'd simply like to become a Gunners icon". Turning 19 on June 18, former Ituano hitman is eligible for Italian nationl teams as well.
