While screening a lot names, ahead of handing Gianluigi Donnarumma out, including Salvatore Sirigu (Torino), Juan Musso (Udinese), and Alex Meret (Napoli), AC Milan top brass might end up entrusting former Spanish international goalkeeper Pepe Reina (37), who'll be back from his Aston Villa half-season loan spell, as a regular starter. Former Liverpool, Napoli and Bayern Munich stopper was already signed as such back in summer 2018, when Donnarumma himself was meant to leave. The latter's stay, however, drove Reina to someplace where he had to put up with caving in from his expectations, and being only a backup.
