Interviewed by Uruguayan radio Sport 890, 33-year old star striker and Barcelona FC powerhouse Luis Suarez stated: "I never considered leaving Spain, during the lockdown. The authorities suggested not to leave home, and that's what I did. I know things are hard in Uruguay right now, people are living day by day. It's tricky right now, and we have to face what's happening all together. Otherwise, the way out is going to be far and narrow. About our wage cut, the thing is we were just trying to help both the club and their employees. That argument about our supposed greediness hurted us, since we agreed on the cut from the start".
