Asked by L'Equipe 21 about French international defensive midfielder Steven N'Zonzi (31), who started playing for Stade Rennais just last February, and was offering a very good performance before the break, Breton side manager, Julien Stephan, stated: "If we manage to rank among Ligue 1 top 3, his loan stay, ahead of 2020/21, is due to be mandatory". Former Sevilla FC and Galatasaray player is still on a parent-club deal with AS Roma until June 2022.
