Interviewed by Sport Bild, German 31-year old centre-back and Bayern Munich old-timer Jerome Boateng, asked about both his present and future, stated: "My current deal is expiring on June 2021, and I'm planning to fulfil its deadline due to Flick being our boss now. I owe him a lot, and I probably wouldn't be playing for Bayern, a club which will always be a special one for me, no matter what, if it weren't for him". Boateng was close to join PSG back in summer 2018.
