Teasing Botafogo over rumours linking names such as Mario Balotelli, Sebastian Giovinco, even Zlatan Ibrahimovic, to the club, 90's and early 2000's Brazilian international Denilson, interviewed by Terra, stated: "I'm picturing how would it be playing for Botafogo, not being paid, and then hear rumours about them pursuing Arjen Robben. Looking at how things are going for them, the club should really avoid considering any new signing. It's time to be responsible, they are a joke instead. In fact, since they want Robben, why don't they even have a run at Batman?".
