PSG former hitman ANELKA on star hitman CAVANI: "Letting him go is a mistake"

09.06.2020 13.42 by Claudio Colla  read 486

During an Instagram live, 41-year old former French international striker Nicolas Anelka (in the pic on the left), playing for PSG both in the mid-late 90's and the early 2000's, talked about the underlying plan of the club not to extend their ongoing deal with Edinson Cavani: "Letting him leave would be a huge mistake. It's a real striker, whose kind isn't around anymore. He has no fear to do the dirty job, to be in the core of the game, besides scoring a lot of goals and playing wonderful tricks. You always need someone like that, especially in top competitions, let alone avoid handing him out to any rival. Once he joins a club playing against PSG, he'd score against his former team, for sure. And that's when you regret your move".
