Ahead of the eighth Bundesliga in a row won by Bayern Munich, the sixth featuring him in the team, Polish star striker Robert Lewandowski stated:

We’re German champions, again. It’s obviously a bit difficult celebrating without fans. It's somewhat lacking passion, to be honest. We’re nevertheless very happy. It’s not been an easy season, we’ve fought long for the title. I hope we get to celebrate with the fans in the stadium soon. In the first half, Werder played rather defensively, but the did fine. In the second half we needed to score to make it a bit easier. We’ve shown we’re the best team in Germany, and we want to play even better in the Champions League”.
