RB LEIPZIG head of football Krosche: "Filling the void WERNER left won't be easy"

19.06.2020 14.04 by Claudio Colla  read 311

Just coming from having sealed the deal over 24-year old German star striker Timo Werner leaving RB Leipzig, after four very successful seasons in, and joining Chelsea, on an alleged 53 million euros transfer fee, Bundesliga giants head of football, Markus Krosche, commented upon the trade: "Of course we fancied keeping Timo in on a longer spell. But he deserved to fulfil the opportunity showing up to him, on the account of his scoring rate, and all the wonderful things he managed to display throughout his Leipzig years. He won't be easy to replace, and filling the void, the blank spot he left, won't be easy at all. But that's up to us, and is our main task, right now. We wish Timo all the best for his new career challenge, and we can't wait to get to watch him play again, on the international scene".
