Done with his second seasn spent playing for AS Monaco, Senegalese international winger/forward Keita Baldé Diao (25), interviewed by Sky Sports, stated: "Helping my hometown's workers in trouble? It's not about me, I just wanted to do the right thing. That's the way my family taught me to do. Watching Premier League players supporting the Black Lives Matters cause, by kneeling before the games started, was nice. It was about setting an example for people. To be honest, I never underwent racism-related troubles. But I was close to fellow football players who did, such as Koulibaly. My future? Now I just want to enjoy my next AS Monaco campaign. Afterwards, I'd like to experience either Premier League or Spanish Liga, which I never got to play in so far, despite being born in Spain, and having been a Barça junior. Now I turned 25, I became a dad, and I feel I grew up, both as a football player and as a man. It's time for me to make a difference again on the pitch". Former Inter Milan and Lazio hitman is still on a deal with French club until June 2022.
