Asked about Chelsea, on an ongoing signing spree, lining up a further top-player bid, aimed at German international attacking midfielder and Bayer Leverkusen powerhouse Kai Havertz (21), Blues boss Frank Lampard told Sky Sports UK: "We never bidded on signing Havertz. He's a great player, of course, though we think it's not fair for us to comment upon other clubs' footballers. He isn't a market target of ours, hence no bids from us". The 1999-born is allegedly tracked by a bunch of A-listers, including Juventus, Liverpool, and PSG.
