Interviewed by Westdeutsche Zeitung, Max Eberl, director of football for Borussia Monchengladbach since 2008, addressed with many transfer rumours regarding German club many young and brilliant players, stated: "If you look at our history as a club, you'll see how we've always been faithful to what we announced. We sell some players year by year, as a strategy. But it won't happen throughout the upcoming window. We want to keep our group assembled together, especially our young ones, such as Elvedi, Ginter, Neuhaus, Zakaria, Embolo, Thuram, Plea. Of course they will leave, sooner or later, at least some of them. But that's not the time".
