Addressed with rumours linking French international centre-back Samuel Umtiti (26) to an Olympique Lyonnais move back, Les Gones manager Rudi Garcia stated: "It would be nice, of course. But I don't think that's an easy operation". Playing for Barcelona FC since 2016/17, Umtiti, still on a deal with Blaugrana until June 2023, has been suffering from knee troubles for a long time, and has been overdue for a change of scenery anyways. Besides, a bunch of clubs might be back after him, including Manchester United, Lazio, AS Roma, and Napoli.
