INTER MILAN, Ashley YOUNG: "I'd leave Italy for joining Watford back"

Playing for Inter Milan since last January, former Manchester United and English NT wide midfielder Ashley Young (35), speaking during an episode of Watford official podcast "Golden Tales", quite surprisingly stated: "I'd join Hornets back right away, if I had the chance. If I could turn back time, and be there for Watford, I'd even leave Italy, because Watford is what I am, where I come from, and what allowed me to become what I am".

Probably talking offhand indeed, but bearing no real perspective on a sooner move back to London (though something might be arranged next summer, since the player is probably going to be a free agent, as long as Hornets manage to get bumped back to Premier League), Young is still on a deal with Neroazzurri until June 2021.
